ARRA (Federal
Stimulus) Update for Water + Wastewater Projects As
of June 5, the top 20 ranked drinking water projects and the top 10 ranked
wastewater projects appear likely to receive ARRA funding, but the final list of
projects ultimately approved for ARRA funds could change, based upon US EPA’s
determination if the projects are 20% “Green” on average.
(Projects could be replaced if necessary so that Colorado surpasses the
20% Green threshold.) CCA
has also learned that all stimulus funded water and wastewater projects must be
under contract by February 17, 2010 or else the funds will be lost. Buy
