American Express
In these economic times, American Express can offer CCA members an interest and fee free unsecured line of credit that does not require any sort of collateral. The program is corporate liability based, unlike many banking relationships that are usually personal liability based and the Corporate Card program does not require a personal guarantee. Your account limits will be established on the strength of your financials with most companies getting at least a $50,000 account limit. The American Express Corporate Card is a charge card and not a credit card, meaning you must pay your balance in full monthly. Think of this program as American Express lending you money for 60 days at no cost to your company.
What are the advantages to using the Corporate Card? Besides the interest and fee free line of credit, through the Membership Rewards program you can earn up to 2% back on all of your spend with no limits or expirations. You’ll also obtain an extra 30 to 59 days of float on your money.
