CWFC Scholarships

The Construction Workforce Foundation of Colorado (CWFC), administered by the Colorado Contractors Association (CCA), is proud to support the next generation of construction professionals through its annual scholarship program.

Each year, CWFC awards scholarships to college students pursuing careers in heavy-highway, municipal, and utility construction, helping to strengthen Colorado’s construction workforce.

Scholarship Details

  • Award Amounts: $3,000 – $10,000
  • Eligibility:
    Open to students interested in pursuing a career in heavy-highway-municipal-utility construction and are attending an accredited Colorado college or university and pursuing a degree in:
    • Construction Management
    • Civil Engineering
  • Expanded Eligibility (New):
    Students enrolled in the Community College of Aurora’s Power Diesel Mechanics program are also eligible (must not be receiving support from Wagner Equipment, Transwest, or 4 Rivers Equipment).
  • Application Deadline: April 30
  • Scholarship Celebration:
    Recipients will be honored at a mandatory scholarship awards dinner at Mile High Station in Denver.

We encourage you to share this opportunity. CWFC scholarships are most commonly awarded to students attending:

  • Colorado School of Mines
  • Colorado State University (Fort Collins and Pueblo)
  • University of Colorado Boulder
  • Colorado Mesa University
  • Metro State University

Applicants from other Colorado colleges, universities, and trade schools are also encouraged to apply.
