Contractor Membership

CCA was established in 1933 and is a consortium of almost 400 firms including many second and third-generation family-owned construction businesses. The Colorado Contractors Association represent contractor firms who construct: airports, light rail facilities, bridges and dams; highways and streets; parking lots, underground utilities such as phone, fiber optic, water, gas and sewer lines; power and telecommunication transmission centers;  wastewater, stormwater pipelines and wastewater treatment plants. 

Contractor Members

A contractor is any person, firm, partnership, joint venture, corporation or entity who or which may or may not act as a prime contractor, but does undertake work on a project in part or whole using its own job site work force. A contractor member performs work on construction sites under a contract or subcontract.

CCA offers a Provisional Membership to Colorado based Contractors that have been in business for less than 5 years or who report volume less than 3 Million a year. A Contractor joining as a Provisional Member will pay 1/3 dues their first year, 2/3 dues their second year and full dues their third year. Minimum dues will never be less than $1,500.

CCA’s national partner is The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC/A). AGC/A is the leading association for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 33,000 firms, including 7,500 of America’s leading general contractors, and over 12,500 specialty-contracting firms.
