The Construction Workforce Foundation: Building the Workforce of Tomorrow
The Construction Workforce Foundation of Colorado (CWFC) is a 501(c)(3)
organization that promotes, educates and trains the Municipal Utility, Heavy
Civil and Highway Construction workforce of tomorrow through scholarships,
education and industry promotion.
CWFC accomplishes this by:
- Awarding Scholarships to
students in their junior and/or senior year of study following a
construction curriculum at Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State
University-Ft. Collins, Colorado State University-Pueblo, University Of
Colorado-Boulder, Mesa State University and some technical schools.
- Presenting seminars to
upgrade the skills and knowledge of current employees, providing the latest
technical, managerial and safety information available.
- Improve the image of
construction as a “Career of Choice”.
Scholarships
Every year, CWFC awards a number of academic scholarships to college students
completing their junior and/or senior year of study in a construction curriculum
at one of the following college and universities:
- Colorado School of Mines
- Colorado State University (Fort Collins and Pueblo campus)
- University of Colorado – Boulder
- Mesa State University
- Select Technical Schools in Colorado

Legacy Scholarships
